I was curious about cupro fabric as I’d read the rave reviews, describing it as ‘vegan silk’. Wow! It sure is luxe! Unlike silk, it’s a heavy fabric, lending itself to both the drape and flattering features of this dress. I was fortunate to try on both the black and charcoal, both are beautiful and difficult to decide between. Can be worn entirely open, like a light coat/trench underlay, the cord ends hang loose, about 5cm off the base hemline, or can be loosely tied behind, which pulls the sides back a little.
The craftsmanship is immaculate and my favourite aspect is the sophisticated V-neckline. It is simply stunning and not really featured in the photos. It gave -small busted- me optional cleavage, which I could determine depending on how tightly I wrapped it. I consider it a classic and understated, yet quite unique dress, that truly lends itself to transitioning from day-to-night, thanks to that fabulous neckline.
