I'm not sure if it's the mercury rising in Virgo or a change of season, but recently I had a sudden urge to clean out my wardobe to the extent I got my entire sock drawn out and paired up every pair of socks I own. I know, a game changer. Socks are one of those necessary evils in life- we all need them but they never seem to stay paired up or stay in the sock draw (or is that just me?).
Introducing this folding technique, cute squares to keep your socks neat and tidy.
Socks are one of those things that we all use but often don't think too much about. But did you know that there's a right way to fold them? That's right, socks can be folded into squares!
Why bother folding socks into squares? Well, for starters, it just looks neater. But more importantly, it helps to preserve the shape of your socks and prevents them from getting stretched out. And who doesn't want their socks to last longer?
So how do you do it?
- First, you lay the socks on top of each other perpendicularly, forming a cross shape.
- Then, you flip the bottom sock over the top, tucking in the toe.
- Next step is to fold top over the bottom.
Lastly, you tuck the tops of the two socks in between the folds, and voilà a perfect square!
