Augustus Edward Geddes is from a family of artists and began painting at a young age and completed a Degree in Fine Art at RMIT, winning the Tolarno Hotel Prize.

Gus has extensively explored and studied various painting techniques and mediums through intuitive exploration and has had many exciting exhibitions in Melbourne. Through an intuitive exploration of painting techniques, colour and composition; Gus has created a process-based practise that seeks to challenge and question the viewer's subjective interpretation and perception of content within abstract imagery.
